The fine folks from the Earth
Science Picture of the Day were kind enough to add my image to their
site.
These shots were taken at Pawnee
Prairie Grasslands (Cactus Flats) during the Leonid Meteor weekend of
Nov. 16-18. What a wonderfully
clear night we had. These images were taken using a Pentax MX 35
mm
camera, connected to a Stellarvue
AT1010
80mm, f/5.0 refractor, exposing Kodak
Portra 800 film for 4 seconds.
The film I used was Kodak Portra
800, this is a new film and has very fine
grain for GREAT blowups
and fine resolution.
