Crescent Moon setting
over the Colorado Rockies Nov. 2001
These shots were taken at Pawnee
Prairie Grasslands (Cactus Flats) during the Leonid
Meteor weekend Nov. 16-18.
What a wonderfully clear night we had. The folks
from the Earth
Science Picture of the Day were kind enough to add this image to
their site. I took the images
using a Kodak Portra 800 f3.5 w/ a Pentax MX 35mm
for 4 seconds through a Stellarvue
AT1010
80mm refractor (a great refractor) .
This is a new film and has very
fine grain for GREAT
blowups and fine resolution.
Both were processed by the best
photographic developers in Ft. Collins, CO
Hardy's
