The Pleiades and the Moon get
Familiar
From Cactus Flats
at the Pawnee Prairie Grasslands in NE Colorado on Sept. 16, 2006 is a
shot of the rising Moon and
the nearby Pleiades asterism
(M35). This was prompted because of a comment from one of my NCAS friends
that said
you can't take a picture
of the Moon & M35 next to each other.....So, I had to try.
This shot is from my front porch
using the G.E. X5 DSLR. No points for asethic quality, but both objects
are visible very close to each other.
Sept. 28, 2010 Such as it is.
